An NITian from Rourkela, 17th Batch Management Trainee Topper in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited with simultaneously topping M Tech in Aerospace Production Engg from IIT Chennai. Handled wide spectrum of manufaturing practices in production, assembly and overhauling of fighter jet engines of MiG Variant. Early adopters of CNC machining. With a post graduation diploma in business management from Xavier Institute of Management a shift to Greenfield project for Bajaj Auto happened. XIM study gave perspectives on Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales and Operations. The Greenfield at Chakan was first of its kind inspired by Japanese culture and Toyota Production System to usher in new era of transformation in Bajaj Auto. Handled establishing Aluminium Shop, Paint Shop and Final Assembly shop. Seeded a culture of brotherhood, supervisor less shop floor and TPM way of living in manufacturing. Became an integral member of most transforming project called project 110 at Bajaj Auto leading BPR in manufacturing processes so as to implement SAP and begin the journey of IT led transformation. Worked closely with McKinsey , PWC and IBM to have one of the most successful implementation of SAP in Auto Sector. The journey is on taking to higher heights with large innovations being implemented in Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Integrated Planning, Score carding with BI in SAP and Qlik View, PLM practices, Product Costing, Sourcing, Supplier Onboarding /Evaluation/ Qualification , Taxation, MES, Mobility and IoT. Part of National Apex Body of AutoDx project constituted by SIAM and ACMA. An early adopter Block Chain in Supply chain. Transformed the service part warehouse operations for both domestic and international business to impact productivity by 5x and FPR to > 95% through adoption of SAP EWMS and Bastian WCS. Handled the sustenance and growth with a very thin lean staff of eight to ten members well supported by a team of SI partners of various sizes and expertise.Digitised Customer and Employee Engagement for enhancing Brand perceptions. Created the first e-retail in Auto Sector.
